Starting-up the unit
1. Lightly grease the baking surfaces before the unit is used for the first time. Use the appliance for
about 10 minutes with the toasting surfaces closed (see "using the unit"). Then wipe it down with
a damp cloth.
2. Please do not eat the first waffle you make.
Using the unit
1.
Put the plug into an earthed 230V, 50HZ mains socket. The red neon indicator (POWER)
lights up as the unit begins heating.

Keep the baking unit closed during the warming-up time, allow unit to preheat for about 4
minutes. The power indicator light (red) blacks out and preheat/ready indicator light (green)
turn on when the appliance reaches cooking temperature.

Open the cover and place batter on the cooking plate, then close the lid gently. The waffle will
be finished after 2,5 to 4 minutes.

Open the lid and remove the WAFFLE with a wooden fork or the like. Do not use pointed or
sharp objects to avoid damaging the coating of the baking surfaces.
5.
The baking section should always be closed in the intervals between baking.
Cleaning & maintenance
1.
Pull out the mains plug and allow the unit to cool down.
2.
Brush away remains of crumbs from the baking surfaces.
3.
Clean the machine only with a slightly damp cloth.
4.
Do not use abrasive detergents.
Storage
Always unplug the waffle maker before storage.
Always make sure the waffle maker is cool and dry before storing.
