10. Check the device and its cable regularly for damage. If
there is damage of any kind, the device should not be
used.
11. Do not repair the device yourself, take it to the nearest
authorized service station.
12. Keep the device and the cable away from heat, direct
sunlight, moisture, sharp edges and such like.
13. Never use the device unsupervised. Switch off the
device whenever you are not using it, even if this is only
for a moment.
14. Do not use the device outdoors.
15. Under no circumstances must the device be placed in
water or other liquid, or come into contact with such. Do
not use the device with wet or moist hands.
16. Should the device become moist or wet, remove the
mains plug from the socket immediately. Do not reach
into the water.
17. Use the device only for the intended purpose.
18. The appliances are not intended to be operated by
means of an external timer or separate remote-control
system.
19. The baking surfaces get very hot. Touch the handles
only.
20. Place the unit onto a heat-resistant surface or mat.
21. In order to prevent heat from building up, do not put the
unit directly underneath a cupboard. Ensure that there is
enough space all around.
22. Beware of steam coming out when you open the baking
section.
23. Never use the waffle maker near or below curtains and
other inflammable materials.
