- Page 4 Installation ® The NQER is designed to be mounted in a standard 19” Rack and occupies 3U of space Ensure there is adequate spacing around the NQER device for cooling. Cooling air travels in the direction as shown by the arrows. No vertical loading on the NQER device.
- Page 5 Configuration ® Access via Web Browser Connect the RIS Quad Encoder to your LAN via the Ethernet port and power the device Navigate to the device from a web browser by entering the IP in the address The device is set to DHCP by default. The IP address can be identified by use of a suitable IP scanning tool.
