1. INTRODUCTION AVK series 145 resilient wedge gate valves for use in fire protection are UL/FM approved and designed to be maintenance free. They have a rated working pressure of 250 PSI and are available in DN65-200. All series 145 valves are configured for CTC operation and have flanged end connections to ANSI B16.42 class 150. -

The test pressure should not exceed the rated working pressure of the valve. After the test, any trapped pressure in the body of the valve should be relieved. -
