4.Installation

Connect a communication cable
(USB or Ethernet) to the Reader
Connect external antenna/s to the
Connect a power pack to the Reader

and host PC
Reader
Open the ReaderManager
Turn on the Reader
Open the Connection menu in the ReaderManager.
Find and click on the Reader you want to connect to.
Open Tools->System->Reader Setup
Use the Reader Setup Wizard to setup Reader-
antenna connection, tune and test antenna/s.
(Refer to the ReaderManager Guide)
Open Tools->System->Grid of Tag Sight Counts.
Place tag/s onto the antenna/s.
The tag's ID and the number of times the tags were
sighted will be displayed
