5. Receiving & Unpacking If applicable, inspect the caster wheels for any damage that may have occurred during shipping. If they are damaged, contact Hardt for replacements. WHEN LIFTING A ROTISSERIE, MAKE SURE THE LIFTING IS ALWAYS LEVEL, OTHERWISE THE BALANCE MIGHT BE UPSET, RISKING DAMAGE OR INJURY. AS ALWAYS, ENSURE THAT PROPER HEAVY LIFTING TECHNIQUES ARE PRACTICED.

HARDT 5. Receiving & Unpacking Responsive, Reliable Solutions 13. Take the manual lifting rig (P/N 99-19036) and assemble one side with one of the included clamps and one of the round grips at one end of each pole. The clamps will serve as stoppers to keep the balance when lifting the oven.

HARDT 5. Receiving & Unpacking Responsive, Reliable Solutions 16. Using a screwdriver, secure the four clamps flush against the base’s walls on each side of the oven so the unit’s center of gravity will be maintained during lifting (see Figure 5-19).

HARDT 5. Receiving & Unpacking Responsive, Reliable Solutions 5.3 Countertop Unit Installation LIFTING THE ROTISSERIE REQUIRES A 4 PERSON TEAM AS THE WEIGHT OF THE UNIT IS AROUND 400 LBS. CARE MUST BE TAKEN NOT TO OVER EXERT PRESSURE ON THE DOOR GLASS WHEN HANDLING THE ROTISSERIE.

Installing the Equipment Responsive, Reliable Solutions 6.4 Accessories ® If a GR-15 grease reservoir is purchased with the Elemendt 1000 rotisserie, it is to be placed to the right of the rotisserie(s). Ensure that the drain from each rotisserie is aligned above the openings in the GR-15 as shown in Figure 4-1 on page 6 and in Figure 4-2 on page 7.
HARDT 7. Final Checklist Responsive, Reliable Solutions 7. Final Checklist Please check these final points before operating the rotisserie: Is each rotisserie level? Use a level to verify level from front to back and side to side. • Open the front door to the 90° position and let it go, if it remains stationary then the rotisserie is level. If the door swings closed or farther open, then additional leveling is required.
