Earbud Controls

Controls and features are the same for both earbuds.

Controls

  1. Earbud Indicator LED
    Red when charging.
    Blue when fully charged.
  2. Function Button
    Press and hold to power ON.
    Press to play/pause audio on Bluetooth device.
    Press and hold to power OFF.
  3. Microphone
  4. Earbud Charging Contacts

NOTE: Each earbud must be powered on separately.
Once they are linked, powering off one earbud will power off both.

Case

  1. Charger Power & Battery Indicator LED
    Flashing blue when case is charging.
    Solid Blue when case is ON.
    Individual LEDs show battery level.
  2. Charger Power ON
    Case will automatically power off when not in use.
  3. Charger DC Power Input (rear)

Charging the Earbuds

For best results, charge fully before use. Charging time is approximately 2 hours.

  1. Open the cover and place the earbuds in their docking stations (note Left and Right placement).
  2. Close the case to ensure the contact between earbuds and the case.
  3. Use the Power switch on the case to power it ON and begin charging the earbuds.
    • While charging, the indicator on the earbuds will turn red.
    • When charging is complete, the indicator will turn blue. After 5 minutes, the indicator and the case will power off.

Charging the Case

For best results, charge fully before use. Charging time is approximately 2 hours.

Using a Micro-USB to USB cable, connect to the USB port of a powered on computer or USB power adaptor (not included) to charge the case.
Charging the Case

Linking Earbuds

The earbuds feature automatic linking and will connect to each other after powering on.

  • Press and hold the Function button on both earbuds to power them on. The LEDs on both earbuds will quickly flash red and blue as the connection is made.
  • When successfully linked, a voice will announce the connection, and the right earbud LED will flash red and blue, while the left one slowly flashes blue.

Pairing Bluetooth

Note: You can power on a single earbud to use alone, and it will function in Mono sound mode.

  1. With the earbuds linked, you can now connect to your Bluetooth device. The LED indicator on the right earbud will continue flashing blue and red, indicating it is ready to pair to a Bluetooth device.
  2. On your Bluetooth device, access Bluetooth Settings and search for nearby devices. Select IAEBT449 when it is discovered. When successfully connected to your Bluetooth device, a voice prompt will announce the Bluetooth connection and the LED indicator on both earbuds will blink blue once every 7 seconds.
  3. Audio played through the connected Bluetooth device will now be heard through both earbuds.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of truly wireless earbuds, you may experience slight interruptions with your audio in areas with multiple 2.4Ghz bands or in high wireless traffic areas.

Audio Functions

  • To play/pause audio, quickly press the Function button.
  • To skip to the next audio track, press the Function button twice while audio is playing.
  • You can also or use the controls on the connected phone to handle audio functions.

Speakerphone Functions

  • To accept or end a phone call, press the Function button.
  • To reject a call, press and hold the Function button for 2 seconds.
  • You can also or use the controls on the connected phone to handle phone functions.

Auto-Charge Feature

While the case power is ON:

  • Placing the earbuds in the charging case will automatically power them off and begin charging.

  • To avoid hearing damage, make sure that the volume on your music player is turned down before connecting your headphones. After placing headphones in/on your ears, gradually turn up the volume until you reach a comfortable listening level.
