    D Series Modular Air-cooled Scroll Chillers Service Manual 5 OPERATION PRINCIPLE 5.1 Schematic Diagram The low-pressure superheated refrigerant vapor from the evaporator is drawn into the compressor through which the low-pressure vapor is compressed to hi-temperature and hi-pressure refrigerant vapor. Then, the refrigerant vapor passes the condenser and turns to saturated or sub- evaporates by absorbing heat from the second refrigerant and then is drawn into the compressor again.
