7-37 Troubleshooting
Make sure that you handle the media on the outside edges to avoid fingerprints.
To get rid of fingerprint spots, print a few prints.
Toner particles have contaminated the transfer roller. This can happen if the
printed image is larger than the media (for example, when printing on envelopes).
Run 10-20 prints to clean the transfer roller.
There is a defect on the coated surface of the transparency. Print on the other side.

SCSI

If trouble occurs when printing using SCSI, confirm that the ASPI Manager is
installed. If the ASPI Manager is not installed, you must install it. It is assumed
that the Adaptec SCSI host adapter is installed.
Windows 3.1 users
1. Confirm that the SCSI host adapter is installed in your PC correctly.
2. In CONFIG.SYS file, check the following setting.
DEVICE = ASPInDOS.SYS (n = 2, 4, 8 etc.)
If this setting does not exist in CONFIG.SYS, reinstall SCSI driver using EZ-
SCSI (refer to the SCSI host adapter users manual).
3. Confirm that the EZ-SCSI is installed in Windows 3.1. If Adaptec EZ-SCSI
program group does not exist, install SCSI driver using EZ-SCSI (refer to SCSI
host adapter users manual).
4. After finishing necessary procedure, restart PC and make sure that the
following message appears on your PC.
"ASPInDOS.SYS Installation successful"
