PROBLEM
ON/OFF switch light ON
but timer does not light.
(Electronic Timer Models
only).
Steam flow does not stop
when timer stops.
Steam and/or water
draining around
compartment door.

bottom of cabinet.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
Timer transformer has failed.
Inoperative controls.
Operating in manual mode.
Heat Standby Switch has loosened or
failed closed.
(21CET16 only)
Heat standby timer is stuck closed.
(21CET8 or 24CEA10 only)
Inoperative controls inside cabinet.
It is common for a small amount of
water to condense around the door.
Water supply to condenser turned
OFF.
Hot water instead of cold water
connected to condenser fitting.
Compartment drain clogged or
covered.
External drain not properly installed,
should be free-air vented and pitched
down.
Door gasket or door parts worn.
Steamer not level.
Condenser inoperative
Hot water instead of cold water
connected to condenser fitting.
Water supply to condenser turned
OFF.
Condenser water line strainer and/or
nozzle are clogged.
Water supply line to the condenser
blocked, broken, or leaking.
Inoperative condenser solenoid.
Solid particles have partially blocked
the drain valve open.
Inoperative controls
Broken or loose plumbing inside
steamer cabinet.
Plumbing needs repair.
Juices and/or food leaking from pans
