Each time the button is single clicked, the display will
toggle back and forth between the two error codes and re-
fresh the 10 second display timer.
Before leaving the job site, you must erase the stored error
codes so that fresh error codes will be available on your
next visit to the job site. Stored error codes can be erased
by momentarily removing, then restoring power to the con-
trol center.
B−Double Click (Bypass Time Delays)
Quickly pressing and releasing the button twice (double click-
ing) will bypass the current time delay and force the next
scheduled operation to start. During some switch over opera-
tions, time delays are stacked" on top of each other. In other
words, a time delay may be followed by another time delay.
The button may need to be double clicked several arial in or-
der to start the next scheduled operation.
Double clicking can be used to speed along new system
startup and checkout.
C−Single Long Push (Display Status)
Pushing and holding the button down for about 2 seconds
displays the status of the control panel. The display uses the
diagnostic LEDs along with the zone damper LEDs to indi-
cate the current status of the control panel. Control panel sta-
tus will be displayed for one minute. A double click will bypass
this delay and return the LED displays to their normal func-
tion.

Time Delays

Several different delay timers are used in the Harmony II sys-
tem. Delays may precede or follow a demand depending on
the type of function. The delays are used to control equip-
ment connected to the system. Table 4 shows how the most
noticeable delays are used:

A−Powering the System (All Systems)
1− Place all thermostats in a position where no demand
will occur.
2− Apply power to the furnace and to the zone damper
transformer. This will cause all four diagnostic LEDs
and system control panel service LED to be lit for 2
seconds then go off.
NOTE − In normal operation, the DIAG 2 LED will always
briefly flash on then off when an external switch is opened
or closed. For example, when there is a call for cooling in
zone 1, the 1Y thermostat LED will light and the DIAG2
lt
LED will flash on then off. When the cooling demand has
been satisfied, the 1Y LED will go off and the DIAG 2 LED
will again flash on then off.
B−Heating (Gas Heat Systems)
Gas Single Zone Heating
1− Press the heat switch, zone switch, and the fan auto
switch on the system control panel. See figure 28.
