12.Press the Home (fig. 2, page 4, 2) button to increase, or press the Output (fig. 2, page 4, 3)
button to decrease the backlight.
13.Shortly press the Menu (fig. 2, page 4, 2) button to finish the setup of the device.

Setting the time, date and timer
➤ Repeatedly press the Output (fig. 2, page 4, 3) button until time is displayed.
➤ Press and hold the Menu button (fig. 2, page 4, 1) for 3 seconds until the blinking Set text
appears on upper section of the display (fig. 2, page 4, 6).
The following values can be set:
• Hours, minutes, day, month and year
• Hours and minutes settings of the timer on function
• Hours and minutes settings of the timer off function
➤ To increase or decrease the values, use the Home (fig. 2, page 4, 2) or the Output (fig. 2,
page 4, 3) buttons.
➤ To switch between the values to be adjusted, shortly press the Menu (fig. 2, page 4, 2) button.

NOTE
Setting the timer deactivates the automatic switching on and off according to capacity
values.

Setting the home screen
Any displayed value can be set as home screen.
➤ Select the desired screen to be displayed (chapter "Displaying environmental information" on
page 13).
➤ Press and hold the Home (fig. 2, page 4, 2) button for 3 seconds until the HOME text appears on
the display (fig. 2, page 4, 8).

Using the device
When operating the device, the display illumination is switched on and remains activated for 3
minutes. If there is no further operation within this time, the lighting switches off automatically. The
display continues to show the same content as before with lighting. Pressing any button again acti-
vates the display illumination. Only the second press of a button performs the actual function of the
button.

Displaying battery information
➤ To scroll through the battery values, shortly press the Output (fig. 2, page 4, 3) button.

NOTE
The displayed values are shown for each battery. A black triangle indicates if the dis-
played value belongs to the starting (fig. 2, page 4, 4) or the house battery (fig. 2,
page 4, 10).
