Water pump control
The control unit for special vehicles J608 activates the water pump as soon as all switch-on conditions are
fulfilled. To prevent the fresh water pump from running dry, the fresh water pump is switched off if the filling
level in the fresh water tank is too low (approx. ≤ 5%).
The fresh water fill level is measured by a level sensor in the tank and displayed in the display and operating unit
for camping equipment. To check the filling of the fresh water tank, an acoustic confirmation can switched on in
the display and operating unit for camping equipment via the "Filling levels -> Tank check" menu. This generates
an intermittent tone which sounds at shorter and shorter intervals as the filling level rises and changes to a
continuous tone when completely filled.
If the waste water tank is full (approx. ≥ 95%), the control unit for special vehicles J608 switches off the fresh
water pump, the discharge of which leads into the waste water tank (sink and shower room).
The water from the WC flush and the outside shower does not run into the waste water tank.
If the waste water tank is full, the fresh water supply to the outside shower and toilet remains active.
