    Operation The display and operating unit Components of the display and operating unit The interior temperature sensor for the vehicle interior for controlling the Truma heater is located above the dinette seat bench. Immediately next to it is the interior temperature sensor for displaying the interior temperature on the display and operating unit for camping equipment.

    Energy management How it works The status of the energy supply can be consulted at a glance in the Battery menu of the display and operating unit for camping for camping equipment. The charge level of the additional battery is shown graphically as a bar display with ten segments.

The living area light consists of five LED strips. These are installed between the wall units and the headliner. On the one hand, it serves as a design element, but on the other hand it is also used to create a coloured illumination of the living area according to the needs of the customer.
  • Page 35 Background lighting technology The LEDs of the light strip are activated in the respective colours with 24 volts. A voltage transformer (DC/DC) is used to implement this. The output voltage of the voltage transformer is adjustable from 20 to 30 V. The output voltage for the background lighting in the Grand California must be set to 24 V.
