Connection
Ethernet interfaces include Telnet, SNMP, FTP, and an HTTP interface known as
StorageWorks Visual Manager™ (VM). For more information on router
management, refer to the StorageWorks by Compaq Network Storage Router User
Guide.

Serial Port Connections

The RJ-11 connector provides a serial port that is compliant with the EIA 562
standard and is RS-232 signaling-level compatible. The serial connection can be used
to configure the unit, monitor its diagnostic status, or update the router firmware.
Refer to Figure 3-2 for an illustration of the serial port location on the back-side of
the router.
The serial port will accept the following settings:

Autobaud, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, or 115200
Compaq recommends setting the baud rate to 115200.
