At higher listening levels always ensure linear operation - that is keep bass and treble controls
(or equalizer) in a neutral center position. As long as the signal does not sound shrill or distorted
the speaker will not be damaged. Trust your ears!
Placement
Since the human ear cannot localize the bass frequencies handled by the subwoofer, the
speaker may be set up virtually anywhere desired in the room; In front of, alongside or behind
the listener. Under a table, next to a shelf or cabinet etc. The ideal position is between the
satellite speaker.
The satellite speakers are a completely different matter: The farther the listener is seated from
them, the greater the distance between left and right speakers (the so-called stereo base) must
be for good stereo sound. A familiar rule of thumb is that the two stereo speakers and the
listener should form a rough equilateral triangle. The enclosed self-adhesive stands are used
to decouple the subwoofer from the setting up area.
The Combi-satellites are also suited for wall mounting and can be connected to our wall holder
Cantomount 2.
