Software Installation

Use the following procedure to install the JVC Service Support System software.
Insert the Floppy Disk containing the software into the computer's Floppy

Disk Drive.
Using the Windows® Explorer or File Manager locate the Setup application

Run the Setup application.

At the end of the installation the final screen prompts you to open the

readme file. Click the check box before you click the Finish button. Read
the readme file when it is displayed.
After you have read the readme file, select Exit from the File menu to close

Camera Connection

Connect the camera to the computer.
Connect the PC Cable's, P/N QAM0099-002, DSUB-9 plug to a free serial

communications port on the computer. Make a note of which port you used.
Connect the cable's 3.5 mm diameter plug to the JLIP Connector on the

camera. The location of the connector varies according to model. Use the
appropriate figure as a guide for the connector's location.
