Increase the level selected
▶ Press the g key until the desired level appears on the
display.
The level selected is active.
Decrease the level selected
▶ Press the h key until the desired level appears on the
display.

▶ Press and release one of the g or h keys.
The segments of the level selected flash.
Check the temperature level inside the device

▶ Observe the segments visible on the display, which are not
flashing.

4.5.6 Control panel lock

This function locks the control panel ( Fig. 5 [8]).
To lock or unlock the command panel,
▶ Press simultaneously the

4.5.7 Activating the pressure relief valve

Activate the pressure relief valve once a month in order to avoid
calcification of the safety equipment and make sure that it is not
blocked.
Water may drip from the pressure relief valve outlet.
The pressure relief valve outlet must not be closed.
▶ Drain the pressure relief valve outlet into the sewer.
WARNING
Risk of scalding!
High hot water temperature.
▶ Before opening the pressure relief valve, open the hot water
tap and check the appliance's water temperature.
▶ Wait until the water temperature has dropped enough to
prevent scalding and other damages.

Before activating the pressure relief valve,
▶ Disconnect the appliance from the electricity.
▶ Close the water shut-off valve and open a hot water tap.
▶ Open the pressure relief valve.

▶ Check if the pressure relief valve is working properly.
▶ Open the water shut-off valve.
▶ Connect the appliance to the electricity.

Draining the appliance

CAUTION
Risk of damage to property!
Whenever there is risk of freezing, the water inside of the
appliance may damage the components.
▶ Place a container below the appliance to collect all of the
water that comes out of the appliance.
▶ Drain the appliance.
In the case of risk of freezing, please act as follows:
▶ Close the water shut-off valve ( Fig. 11, [5]).
▶ Open a hot water tap.
▶ Open the pressure relief valve.
▶ Wait until the appliance has drained fully.

Cleaning the casing of the device

▶ Only clean the casing of the device with a damp cloth and a
little cleaning agent.
Never use aggressive or caustic cleaning agents.
