DataView is a software program that enables a computer to connect to and interact with a variety of AEMC instruments, including the Model 6417. As its name implies, a primary purpose of DataView is to view data that has been recorded by the instrument and displayed on the computer. - Page 39 3 is highlighted.) You are now prompted to select the software you want to install. Each AEMC product family has its own specially designed Control Panel. If you are performing a Complete install, by default all available Control Panels are selected (a check mark next to the Control Panel indicates it is selected).

You can access all DataView features through either the DataView icon or the Control Panel icon. For users who interact with Model 6417, we recommend primarily using the Control Panel. However, there are situations where using the core DataView icon may be more convenient for some users, such as when viewing multiple archived reports from different AEMC product families. -

Through a simple, easy-to-learn interface, the app provides a substantial subset of the features and functionality offered in AEMC’s DataView data analysis software, without requiring a PC. - Page 42 The Ground Tester 6417 app enables users to connect to the Model 6417 via Bluetooth.
