Manual Speed Limiter
Principle
The system can be used to set a speed limit,
for instance to prevent the vehicle from ex-
ceeding speed limits.
General information
The system can limit the speed, starting at a
value of 20 mph/30 km/h. The vehicle can
be driven at any speed below the set speed
limit.
Exceeding the speed limit
In special situations, the speed limit can be
exceeded by intentional acceleration.
When the vehicle speed exceeds the set
speed limit, a warning is issued.
No brake intervention
If the set speed limit is reached or uninten-
tionally exceeded, such as when driving
downhill, the vehicle is not actively braked.
When the speed limit is set during a trip to
a value below the driving speed, the vehicle
coasts until its driving speed drops below
the set speed limit.
