  • Page 5 Cam Installation & Operation Guide The Cam and Connecting Bolt system is used to put your unit together. Below is an explanation of how this system works. Press the cam fitting into the hole provided. The arrow on the top of the cam must point to the connecting hole in the edge of the board.
  • Page 6 Assembly STEP 1: Top • To begin assembly, lay the top finished side down on a clean and clear surface. • Screw six Connecting Bolts into the holes as shown. • Using the Panhead screw, attach the Safety Strap as shown by screwing it first through the Washer and then through the eyelet in the Strap, into the hole in the left-hand side of the Top.

NOTE: The holes for the Cams could be on either side of the Division. • Screw a LH Drawer Slide (CL) on using the Drawer Slide Screws. Ensure that the end of the slide with the wheel faces towards the Finished edge of the Division.

  • Page 14 STEP 9: Attach RH End • Fit the RH End to the Rails and Shelf as shown in the drawing below. Ensure the cams on the back rail are facing the top of the unit. • Lock the RH End to the Rails and Shelf by tightening all the Cams in a clockwise direction. Ensure you don’t over tighten them, or this may split the side of the rail.
  • Page 15 STEP 10: Attach Division to Top • Lay the Top on a clean, clear surface • Attach the Division to the Top by fitting it down over the Connecting Bolts installed in the Top. Make sure the Finished edge of the Division faces the front of the Top. •...
  • Page 16 STEP 11: Attach Top • Lay the assembled Ends connected with Rails and Shelf on its back as shown below, then connect the top with the division to the ends. The Connecting Bolts in the Top will fit down into the Cams in the Ends.

  • Page 20 STEP 15: Attach the Drawer Slides • Turn the drawer upside-down as shown and attached the Drawer Slides (DL and DR) with the four small woodscrews as shown below. Ensure that the ends of the slides without the wheels are hard up against the back of the Drawer Front.

  • Page 23 STEP 20: Insert the Drawers • Fit the drawers into the cabinet. The top two drawers are different, one is for the RH side the other the LH so ensure the correct one goes in the correct side. Angle the drawer slightly to ensure that the wheel at the back of the drawer slide goes behind the front wheel on the cabinet slide.
