This function arranges the order of the tracks of a CD
to be recorded on Side A and Side B in accordance
with the tape length, so that as many tracks can be
recorded as possible.
This function doesn't work with a disc which contains
more than 33 tracks.

Load a recordable cassette tape into
TAPE @.

Press the CD button or the FUNCTION
button to select "CD".

Press the AI EDIT button.
The tape length blinks.

Select the tape length(C-10〜99) by
pressing UP or DOWN button and then
press the SET button.
< AI editing is canceled if no operation is performed
for 3 seconds.
Example:C-46
Total recording time, recording time and tracks of
Side A and Side B are shown on the display.
To cancel AI editing, press the AI EDIT button
again.

Press the REC(K ) button to start
recording.
When the recording on Side A is finished, the CD
enters pause mode and the cassette tape is fast-
forwarded to the end of the tape. Then open the
cassette holder and reverse the tape. Press the
REC button(K) and the recording on Side B will
start.
< To stop AI edit recording, press the STOP
button(H).
< Repeat playback of CD isn't possible during AI
edit recording.
