Load a recordable cassette tape into
TAPE @.
< You can use normal(Type!) or CrO
If the safety tabs of the cassette
tape have been broken off, cover
the holes with adhesive tape.

Select the source to be recorded by
pressing function buttons.

(Type@) tape.

Press the REC button(K).
The recording starts.
When you select "TUNER", please tune in a station
before pressing the REC button.
When you select "CD", the playback of CD starts
simultaneously.
< If you press the REC button(K) with CD playing,
the recording starts from the beginning of the
current track.
< It is possible to record during Shuffle playback or
program playback.

To stop recording
Press the STOP button(H).

Record Muting Operation
If you press the REC MUTE button during
recording, the tape keeps on moving but nothing
is recorded. "REC" blinks in the display, and the
recording stops after 4 seconds. To continue
recording, press the REC MUTE button within 4
seconds.
