Troubleshooting
Images are poor at night when the camera is installed in front of a window
R Night vision mode is causing images to have poor quality.
→Turn off night vision mode ( "Night vision mode", Page 167).
Infrared LEDs light at night
R Night vision mode is enabled and automatically turns on infrared LEDs at night.
→Turn off night vision mode ( "Night vision mode", Page 167).
Note:
R Turning off night vision mode will reduce the visibility of images at night.

Amazon Alexa features

Refer to the following after checking the general troubleshooting information described in "General
information", Page 176.
My Amazon Alexa device does not respond to my voice commands
R You have not set up your Amazon Alexa device for use with the [HomeHawk] app.
→Set up your Amazon Alexa device for use with the [HomeHawk] app ( "Linking with your Amazon
Echo Show", Page 36).
R You said an incorrect voice command.
→Say the correct voice commands ( "Using Amazon Alexa to control devices", Page 37).
Images are not displayed or not displayed smoothly on Amazon Echo Show
R The bit rate setting is too high.
→Lower the bit rate setting (shelf cameras/floor cameras: "Bit rate settings for Amazon Echo Show
