HW: PC Computer (Windows 10 recommended)

HW: PH00 Size Philips-head screwdriver
3.
HW: Suntech-Provided White USB Debugging Cable
4.
HW: OBD2 Simulator or Power adapter

SW: Synctrak_v5.0.4.9
2. Connecting the Device:
1. Locate the micro-USB cable and your device
2. Install the latest
USB Drivers and SyncTrak
3. Make note of the:
1. SIM Card's APN settings
2. Your Listener / Server I.P. Address/URL and Port
3. Your listener's protocol: TCP or UDP
4. Your listener / server's data format: ASCII or HEX
Connecting to SyncTrak
1. Battery, Micro-USB cable are disconnected from the device and from the computer
2. Install SIM Card into the device "backwards" - as pictured below
3. Back-up battery is disconnected from ST4500
4. Open SyncTrak on your PC
5. Open Device Manager on your PC
6. Connect the Micro-USB cable to the ST4500
7. Connect the USB Cable to your computer.
8. Connect the back-up battery to the ST4500
9. Monitor the "Ports" section in Windows Device Manager
Two ports will open after connecting the device to your computer: Modem and Debug
if they do not, you will not be able to connect to the device. Re-install your USB drivers or check with your
I.T. organization to ensure you have the correct admin permissions to install the software.
