Housing. Ikelite has over 45 years of experience in the underwater
photographic, video, and lighting market.

The clear housing
permits instant visual
inspection of the
camera and all sealing
surfaces as well as
complete monitoring
of controls and
camera LCD screens.
Ikelite Compact Video
Housings are neutrally
buoyant in salt water
for stability. This
housing has been
water pressure tested
at the factory. All camera controls are fully functional through the
housing which is water pressure tested to 200' (60m).

1 . Place the housing face down in your lap or on a flat surface.
2. Depress opposing latch buttons simultaneously to open
housing. Once the latch is unlocked, rotate the latch handle up
and away from the housing until it stops. This motion will also
break the housing o-ring seal and open the housing back
slightly.
N N O O T T E E : : Latch must be rotated to the fully open position to assure
easy opening of the back. Rotate the hinged back to it's open
position.

We suggest that you read this instruction booklet thoroughly
before use. If you are new to underwater photography be sure
to read the General and Photo Tips.
We also suggest that you read the camera manual thoroughly
to have a full understanding of where each camera control is
located and what function each control provides.

This housing is compatible with 2nd generation Flip models U1 1 20
and U21 20 only. We do not offer a housing to accept 1 st genera-
tion Flip models F230 or F260.
C C a a m m e e r r a a S S e e t t u u p p
Insert a fully charged rechargeable battery pack or standard AA
batteries into the Flip camera.
Refer to your camera Quickstart Guide to set the date and time.
N N O O T T E E : : Make sure your camera is functioning normally before
placing it in the Ikelite Compact Video Housing.

Check to see that there is an o-ring on the housing back and
that it is clean, lightly lubed, and in its proper location.
