Starting automatic mode.
- Press button 6. The indicator light
in the button lights up.
- Select the temperature setting
using buttons 5 and 8

If you attempt to select a temperature
above 28°C, the display 4 will
indicate HI (high). The system will
then operate at the maximum
temperature setting.

To obtain and conserve the selected

temperature setting, the system will
control the following parameters:
- ventilation speed

- air distribution
- air recirculation management
- switching air conditioning on or
off
With the exception of certain
circumstances, it
necessary to deselect automatic
mode by operating buttons 1, 2, 3, 7,
9, and 10.
In cold weather, the automatic air
conditioning system will not start
immediately at maximum power
but will increase progressively until
the engine temperature is warm
enough to heat the passenger
compartment air. This may take
between 30 seconds and several
minutes.

The figure on the display is the
16°C, the
temperature setting.
When the vehicle is started in cold
or hot weather, increasing or
decreasing the values displayed
does not mean that the comfort
level is reached more quickly (the
system optimises the temperature
increase or decrease whatever the
air temperature indicated).
The instrument panel side vents
may remain open, irrespective of
weather conditions. However, it is
advisable to keep the vents closed
in cold weather.
The centre air vents (cold air only)
must be kept closed for outside
temperatures below about 20° to
