Normal Sounds
RAC-WK15 Models
Sound of Rushing Air
In front of the unit, you
may hear the sound of
rushing air being moved
by the fan.
Gurgle/Hiss
Gurgling or hissing
noises may be heard due
to refrigerant flowing
through evaporator
during normal operation.

Cooling Operation
NOTICE
The relative humidity of room should be less than 80%. If the unit is used in a condition with a
relative humidity over 80%, there will be condensed water on the surface of the unit.
Performance may be reduced outside of these operating temperatures.

High Pitched Sound
High efficiency compressors may
have a high pitched sound during
cooling cycle.

Trickling Sound
Droplets of water
hitting condenser
during normal
operation may cause
a trickling sound.
Vibration
Unit may vibrate and make
noise because of poor wall
or window construction or
incorrect installation.
