Decode Redundancy for UPC/EAN
(only in Autodiscriminate Mode)
With Autodiscriminate UPC/EAN Supplementals
selected, this option adjusts the number of times a symbol
is decoded before transmission. The range is from two to
thirty times. Ten or above is recommended when decoding
a mix of UPC/EAN symbols with and without
supplementals.
Scan the bar code below to select a decode redundancy
value. Next scan two numeric bar codes on pages 5-246
to 5-255 that represent the desired number of times. For
single digit numbers, include a leading zero. If you make
an error, or wish to change your selection, scan CANCEL
on page 5-256.
