Figure 2-12 shows a typical LS 5800 installation. For best
operating results, locate the power supply at least 4 in.
(10.16 cm) below the scanner chassis or 2 in. (5.08 cm) away
laterally.

LS 5800-IXXXTN and LS 5800-IXXXTC models have a
Tempax Scratch-Resistant glass window. An in-counter
mounting kit is required for these models. Instructions for
mounting can be found in the LS 5800 Mounting & EAS
Installation Guide.
