Downloading the Software to the Brewer
from the Flash Drive
6 Select the (identical) brewer you wish to make
program changes to. The brewer must be on.
6 Plug the loaded fl ash drive into the USB port on
the brewer. The data copied from the fi rst brewer
will automatically downloaded, overwriting all the
settings that were on the second brewer.
6 The red LED on the top left of the touchscreen will
indicate that the download is in process. This will
only take a second.
6 Once the download is complete, the UCM will
reboot so that the changes take effort.
6 Remove the fl ash drive. The download is complete.
The data on the fl ash drive can continue to be
downloaded into as many identical brewers as
needed.

USB File Transfer

This screen will be present whenever the USB fl ash
drie is inserted, provided the brewer is not currently
brewing.
The default action is „No Action". The UCM will always
create a backup on the fl ash drive before downloading
settings/recipes or a screen-saver.
If a fi rmware update is present on the fl ash drive, the
fi rmware update procedure will be started before the
screen is shown.
