Application Example
 Scenario:
The following scenario assume using WISE-5801 controller in a greenhouse
environment monitoring application. The WISE-5801 is connected to an I-7019R
and an I-7061D remote I/O modules. The AI channel 0 on I-7019R will read the
room temperature and the DO channel 0 and 1 on I-7061D are connected
separately to the air conditioning equipment and sprinkler. The DO channel 2 on
I-7061D is connected to the lighting system to prolong the sun exposure. When
the room temperature is higher than 40°C, the WISE-5801 will send a SMS
message with the real-time temperature value to the operator. The operator could
turn on/off the air conditioner and sprinkler via SMS command. In addition, the
operator could also review the number of time the air conditioner and sprinkler
being turned on and control the lighting in real-time.

The current temperature of the greenhouse is 40.12 According to the value received, the operator can decide if the air conditioner and the sprinkler should be turned on or not.

  • Page 4 On the “I-7000 Module Setting Page”, set the Baudrate to “115200”, and add I-7019R module to the list (in this case, the I-7019R locates at address 1). Click on the “Setting” button on the module list as indicated to edit the settings (for detailed module settings information, please refer to the user manual).
  • Page 5 On the “I-7000 Module Setting Page”, continue to add I-7061D module to the list (in this case, the I-7061D locates at address 2).
  • Page 6 Make sure all settings are accurate, click “Save” button to save the module settings. Click on “2.Advanced Setting” to get into the Advanced Setting page. On the “Advanced Setting” page; click on “Internal Register Setting” to get into the setting page.

  • Page 9 15. Input “off” as the command string in the “Quick Command” field. Select “ACT” as the command style in the Original Command field. Assign Index as 1 and Value as 0 in the Original Command field, then press “Add” button to complete the second SMS command setting.
