Range of movement sensor
The range can be adjusted with the rotary switch
(11). Turn the switch to MAX (maximum range).
The red LED (4) just above the sensor indicates,
whether the sensor has detected a movement.
Even very small movements can activate the
sensor, especially in the close environment of
the sensor. Picture E explains in which direction
the sensor is very sensitive.
Day – night adjustment of movement sensor
A second sensor (not adjustable) automatically
regulates, whether the lamp is activated (at
night) or not (when bright, during the day).
Setting of Remote controls (Pic.D)
1. If one of the buttons on the remote control
has not yet been used, it may be used to
operate the lighting.
2. A button already in use (e.g.: Opening of
garage door, yard door) is used. The lighting
and garage door can then be operated simul-
taneously.
ONLY use original remote controls! Other
remote controls can lead to malfunctioning.
1. Briefly press and release Learn-button (14).
The green LED (13) lights up without
interruption.
2. Press down on 'push button' on remote con-
trol.
Clearing the remote controls
Press and hold setting switch (14) until the
green LED extinguishes (approx. 6 seconds).
This results in all previously adjusted remote
controls to be cleared. Now each of the remote
controls you wish to use has to be reset.

Maintenance and service

Attention: disconnect mains before commencing
any maintenance of unit.
The lamp covering can be cleaned with a clean
soft cloth. Do not use aggressive cleansing
agents that damage the plastic material (ben-
zene, solvents, etc.)
Disposal
The packaging consists of eco-friendly material.
It can disposed of in the local recycling containers.
According to the European Guideline
2002/96/EG on electrical and electronic waste
this unit has to be disposed of in accordance
with regulations after use, in order to guarantee
recycling of the utilized materials.
District- or city councils can give information on
possibilities of disposal.
Accessories (Pic.F)
Remote controls, if not included (see delivery
contents) can be ordered from the next
Chamberlain dealer. Not all of the remote con-
trols listed in this manual can be ordered in all
countries or from all dealers. The models can
vary in some details.
Only Chamberlain remote controls with
Rolling Code may be used in combination
with this unit. If other remote controls (other
brands) are used, this can lead to malfunc-
tioning of the unit.
