Notes on working with materials/tools/speed range

Use the milling bits
Determine the rotational speed range for working on zinc, zinc alloys, aluminium and
copper by trying it out on test pieces.
Use a low rotational speed for work on plastics and materials with a low melting point.
Use a high rotational speed for working on wood.
Carry out cleaning, polishing and buffing work in the medium speed range.
The following are recommendations only and not binding. When carrying out practical
work, carry out your own tests to see which tool and which
settings are ideal for the material you are working on.
