Solving Image Problems

Check the cables connecting your video source to the projector. They
should be:
• Separated from the power cord to prevent interference
• Securely connected at both ends
• Not connected to an extension cable

If you adjusted the image shape using the projector controls, try
decreasing the Sharpness setting in the projector's Image menu to
improve image quality.
Image > Expert Settings > Sharpness

If you connected an extension power cable, try projecting without it to
see if it caused interference in the signal.

Select a computer video resolution and refresh rate that are compatible
with the projector.

Adjusting a Flickering Image

If the projected screen flickers, try the following steps until the problem is
solved.
a
If the screen flickers only when a video signal is input, try replacing the
cable connecting the projector and video device.

If Light Output is set to Low (Eco), change this to Normal and try
projecting an image for about two hours to see if it still flickers.
c
Disconnect all the cables connecting the projector and video devices,
confirm no signal is being input, and then rest all the projector settings
by performing Reset All Config in the projector's Reset menu.

Adjusting an Image with Incorrect Brightness or
Colors
If the projected image is too dark or bright, or the colors are incorrect, try the
following steps until the problem is solved.

Try different color modes for your image and environment by selecting
the Color Mode setting in the projector's Image menu.

Check your video source settings.

Adjust the available settings in the projector's Image menu for the
current input source, such as Brightness, Contrast, Tint, and Color
Saturation.

Make sure all the cables are securely connected to the projector and
your video equipment. If you connected long cables, try connecting
shorter cables.

Position the projector close enough to the screen.
