By default, Poly devices don’t require you to log in before you can use them. If you don’t log in, you see the default profile. When you log in, you have full access to your personal settings and your directory.
Note: Check with the system administrator if your credentials are invalid. The phone updates to display your personal settings, or the Lines screen if your credentials are incorrect. Log Out of a Host Phone After you use a host phone, make sure you log out to prevent unauthorized users from accessing your personal settings. After you log out of the host phone, your guest info and changes made on a host phone don't sync to your personal phone.

Ignoring or Rejecting Incoming Calls When you receive an incoming call, choose to ignore or reject the call instead of answering. Resume a Call on an Expansion Module You can resume calls placed on hold by other contacts from your expansion module connected to supported Edge E Series. A flashing red LED light on a line key on the expansion module indicates a call is on hold on the contact's line.

Conference Calls When you initiate a conference call, you can manage conference participants, join calls into a conference, or split your conference into individual calls. Audio Conference Calls Start a conference call with two contacts on hold. You can also split, hold, or resume conference calls. If your system administrator enables the conference management feature on your phone, you can manage each participant in the call.

Pair and Connect a Smartphone to Your Phone If your Edge E Series phone supports Bluetooth, you can use the phone to control smartphone calls and for audio playback. You can pair up to two smartphones to your Bluetooth-enabled Edge E Series phone. However, you can only connect and use one smartphone at a time for call control and audio playback.
Pair Your Phone and Computer By default, your phone automatically pairs with your computer when you connect it to a computer running the Poly Audio Connector application via Ethernet cable. To pair with a phone on the network that is not directly connected to your computer, you must pair manually.
Phone Applications Poly phones can support optional applications configured by your system administrator. Ask your system administrator if your phone supports any of the applications discussed in this section. Note: Some of the features described in this section require access to the Basic settings menu. Parking and Retrieving Calls on the Cisco BroadWorks Server When your phone is registered with a Cisco BroadWorks server, you can use Call Park to park a call directly to a contact's line.
For example, dial *884144. Ignore a Parked Call You can choose to ignore a parked call instead of retrieving the call. Ignoring the parked call removes the parked call icon, but the call remains parked on your line until the call is retrieved, the retrieval time expires, or the call is ended.

UC-One Contacts' Presence Information UC-One contacts are Enterprise Directory contacts that have Instant Messaging and Presence (IM&P) enabled, and you can view their presence information on your phone. While you can view UC-One contacts presence information on the Lines screen, you cannot change your presence status on the phone.
Task » Select Directories > UC-One Contacts. Your UC-One groups display. If there are no user-defined groups, contacts display under the All Contacts group. View Aggregated Self-Presence for Cisco BroadWorks Lines The home screen displays the aggregated self-presence received from the Cisco BroadWorks Messaging Server (UMS). Task Filter UC-One Favorites You can filter your list of contacts either by Favorites or by your contact's status.
Executive Options As an executive, you can view a list of assigned assistants, filter calls to assistants assigned to your line, and set criteria for filtered calls on your line. Filter Executive Calls Executives can enable Call Filtering on their phones to send all executive calls directly to an assistant to answer, and the executive is not alerted of the incoming call.
When Call Screening is enabled, incoming call notifications also display on the executive's phone, and the executive can choose to answer the call. Place a Call on Behalf of an Executive As an assistant, you can make calls on behalf of any of your assigned executives.
