> Ensure the cutting attachment remains clean and free from
off-cuts that may cause it to jam. Check regularly. Stop the
engine, set the ignition switch (12b) to "
disconnect the spark plug connector (2) before checking.
> Trim longer grass in stages; do not cut long grass in one
cut (Fig. 14c). For the best results, cut longer grass in
steps (Fig. 14d).
> Tap the bumper on solid ground to feed the trimming line if
it's worn-out or ripped.
