Before you start FPHT26-4 Set up Removing the cutting device transport guard CAUTION! Risk of cuts! Cutter blades (2) are very sharp. Wear protective gloves when handling cutter blades (2). Remove the cutting device transport guard (18) carefully from the cutting device (1) (Fig. 1).

Before you start FPHT26-4 2. Release the rear handle adjustment lever (10) to lock the position in place (Fig. 6). NOTE: The rear handle (6) can only be locked at 3 positions. Make sure it snaps securely into place before operating the equipment.

Before operating this equipment it is essential to fill it with petrol-oil mixture! This equipment is equipped with a 2-stroke engine. The fuel and oil tank are combined and it is essential to fill a fuel-oil mixture before operating this equipment.

Intended use This petrol hedge trimmer FPHT26-4 is designated with a maximum power output of 0.75 kW. This equipment intended for trimming hedges, bushes and shrubs with a maximum diameter of 27 mm. Do not use the equipment for any other purpose.

Operation FPHT26-4 Starting cold engine NOTE: For a cold start, make sure that the rear handle (6) is in the upright position. 1. Place the equipment on a flat and stable surface. The cutting device (1) should not touch ground or any objects.

Operation FPHT26-4 4. Hold the equipment securely to the ground with your left hand (Fig. 15). 5. Pull the recoil starter handle (5) slowly with your right hand until you feel a definite resistance and then give it a brisk, strong pull. Repeat until the engine starts (Fig. 15).

Operation FPHT26-4 > Move the cutting device (1) lightly through the cutting surface in a sweeping motion following the shape of the hedge or shrub. A slight 15° tilt downwards of the cutting device in the direction of motion is recommended for optimum cutting performance.
