1. WELCOME

Thank you for purchasing your new ABSINA Wallbox.
With the help of the operating instructions, you will be
able to make optimum use of the functions of your
wallbox. We hope you enjoy using your new device.

2. SYMBOL EXPLANATION

The product complies with the requirements
of the EU Directive.
Do not dispose of the unit in household
waste! Dispose of the appliance via an
authorised waste disposal company or your
municipal waste disposal facility. Observe
the currently applicable regulations. If in
doubt, contact your waste disposal facility..
Attention! A dangerous situation may occur
if the measures are not observed. Risk of
death, serious injury and burns!
Do not use if there is damage to the charging
cable, housing, plug or cable!
Vehicle coupling type 2
Follow the operating instructions!
Do not expose to direct sunlight!

3. INTENDED USE

The wallbox is designed for charging electric and hybrid
vehicles with 1- and 3-phase alternating current (AC)
according to mode 3. The wallbox may only be used in
conjunction with vehicle inlets that comply with
standards and are designed for this purpose in
accordance with IEC 62196-2 (type 2 plug).
Compliance with all the information in these operating
instructions is also part of the intended use. Any other
use or use beyond this is considered misuse and can
lead to dangerous situations. The user is liable for any
damage caused by improper use.

4. SAFETY INSTRUCTION

• The wallbox may only be installed by trained
specialist personnel.
• The wallbox may only be installed vertically.
• Each phase of the supply voltage must be protected
by a residual current device and a circuit breaker.
• The cross-section of the supply line must be at least
2.5mm².
• Before each use of the wallbox, check the housing,
the cable and the plug for damage. Do not operate
the wallbox if it is damaged.
• Do not operate the wallbox near flammable or
explosive materials, chemicals, gases or other
dangerous goods.
• Keep the charging plug clean and dry. If it becomes
dirty, wipe the charging plug with a clean and dry
cloth when it is switched off.
• Improper handling of the wallbox can cause
explosions, electric shocks and short circuits.
Observe the generally applicable safety precautions
and the safety instructions.
• Never use force to disconnect the plugs.
• Never attempt to dismantle, repair or modify the
wallbox yourself. This work may only be carried out
by trained specialists.
• In the event of a fault during use, immediately press
the emergency stop button to switch off all input
and output power supplies.
