Notes Introduction The SureShade Power Bimini is an electric actuator-driven Bimini top powered by a 12V DC source, that can be controlled by an actuator QC (quick connect) controller, a helm-mounted momentary switch or an app. This manual covers operation of various independent upgrade options collected under a complete system.

Operation Bimini Top Turn on electrical power to the boat. Remove any protective boot or restraints from the canvas or optional high speed mesh top. To operate the quick-connect (QC) bimini top, use one of the following methods: NOTE: Do NOT fully open the QC bimini system without a top installed or failure of the system will result. III. The SureShade Bluetooth® compatible app operates in the same fashion as the physical QC controller. NOTE: There is no operation indicator light on the app's control button screen (Fig. 2). Using a smart device, download and install the SureShade Connect app. Follow all on-line prompts to install and pair the app to the controller.

To disconnect and un-pair the connected controller from a smart device, do as follows: Open the app and go to the Raise and Lower button screen (Fig. 2). Tap the gear icon (Fig. 2A) to access the Settings screen (Fig. 3). Follow the app's on-screen prompts to un-pair—disconnect—the controller from the app.
The optional Lippert front fly extension is only compatible with bimini tops equipped with a zippered front storage pocket that accommodates the attachment and storage of the fly extension and stanchions. The stanchions are equipped with adjustable tie-down straps.
Fig. 6 If the power bimini is equipped with the Lippert high speed mesh top, the fly extension can also be reversed and passed underneath the top to provide rain and additional sun protection. The reversed use of the fly extension is secured to the rear rails with the same stanchions and tie-down straps used at the front.

Manual Override If the power bimini top will not retract into the radar or fully retracted position, a manual override of the power bimini top must be done before putting the pontoon underway. Perform a manual override of the power bimini top as follows: If the fly extension is deployed, disconnect the fly extension stanchions and tie-down straps.
