Comparator Setting

6.1.1

Comparison Mode Selection

The instrument can compare resistance and voltage simultaneously or separately. There are 3
comparison modes to choose from:
Absolute Value Comparison ABS(Δ) :Absoulte Value  = Measured Value – Nominal Value
a)
Percentage Comparison PER(Δ%) :Percentage % = (Measured Value – Nominal Value) /
b)
Nominal Value × 100%
Direct-Reading Comparison(SEQ) :The direct-reading value SEQ comparison uses the direct-

reading measurement value to compare with the upper and lower limit ranges, so the nominal
value is not required to participate in the calculation.

The absolute value and percentage comparison mode must enter the nominal value. As for direct
reading comparison mode, the nominal value does not participate in calculation.
Setting Steps for Absolute Value Comparison ABS(Δ)or Percentage Comparison PER(Δ%)
1.
Press【Test】or【Utility】key,and select【COMP SET】with the function key at the bottom of
the screen to enter 【COMP SET】page;
2.
Use the cursor to the【R-COMP】or【V-COMP】field to select ON;
3.
Move cursor move to【Mode】field, and select comparison mode absolut value or percetange;
After operating the third step, move cursor to the corresponding 【nominal value】 , 【Upper limit】

or【Lower limit】field, use numeric keyboard to enter data, unit set by functional key.
