20) Do not switch on the machine in enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces or in the
presence of inflammable and/or explosive substances such as liquids, gases and
powders.
21) Within the working area, the person using the machine is responsible for any damage
or injury sustained by third parties which has been caused by the machine.
22) Only cut during broad daylight or with adequate artificial light.
23) Check that all grass deposits have been removed from the ventilation vents.
24) Do not cross roads or gravel paths with the machine still running.
25) When the machine is not in use, store it in a dry place and out of the reach of
children.
26) After use, disconnect the machine from the power supply and check for damage.
If you have the slightest doubts, contact an authorised service centre.
27) Only use the machine according to the instructions given in this manual.
28) Check regularly that the screws are tight.
29) Use only spare parts and accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
30) Do not try to repair the machine or access internal parts. Contact authorised
service centres only.
31) Do not get distracted and always concentrate on what you are doing. Use common
sense. Never operate the machine when you are tired, sick or under the influence
of alcohol or other drugs.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY RULES

1) The mains voltage must correspond to the voltage marked on the rating plate. Do
not use other sources of power.
2) It is advisable to use an automatic circuit breaker on the mains electricity power
supply line, in the form of a residual current device (RCD) that is activated at a
current of not more than 30 mA or as otherwise indicated in the standards in force
in the country in which the unit is used. Consult your local electrician.
3) Never pass the machine over the extension cable while the machine is working as
it could cut the cable. Make sure you always know where the cable is.
4) Use the special cable holder for connecting up the extension cable.
5) Never use the machine when it is raining. Try to prevent it from getting wet or
being exposed to humidity. Do not leave it outside overnight. Do not cut damp or
wet grass.
6) Only use an extension cable which is suitable for outdoor work. Keep it away from
the cutting area, from damp, wet or oily surfaces or sharp edges and away from
heat and fuels.
7) The Plug and socket on the extension cable must be made of rubber, soft PVC or
some other thermoplastic material that has the same mechanical strength, or they
must be covered with these materials. Used a harmonised cable (at least type
H05RN-F) with a cable section, type of plug and socket that are suited to the power
of this machine. Contact your local electrician.
8) Before use, always check that the extension cable is not damaged.
9) Children must be kept at a safe distance from the machines connected to the mains.
10) Do not touch earthed (grounded) objects.
11) If the power cable or extension cable are damaged while in use, disconnect the
extension cable from the mains power supply immediately. Do not touch the cables
