CONNECTING EQUIPMENT TO THE W-1
Connecting to Wireless Loadbars
1. On the W-1, select
Wireless
.
2. The W-1 will search for the loadbars. When the loadbars have been located,
navigate to select them from the list, then select
Note: As per the Wireless Loadbar Installa on instruc ons, your loadbars must
be switched on and in range to display in the search list.
3. The connec on process will take up to 30 seconds while pairing occurs
between the loadbars and the W-1. Once completed, select

Note: A er 15 minutes of inac vity, wireless loadbars will disconnect as W-1 goes

Connecting to an EID Reader
The EID Reader connects to the W-1 via Bluetooth®.
1. Turn On the EID Reader.
2. Turn On the W-1.
3. On the W-1, select
Important: You can also connect to your W-1 by ini a ng a Bluetooth® enabled
connec on from your reader. A passcode of "0000" may be required to
complete this connec on.
Refer to the EID Reader User Manual for further informa on on pairing the reader.
Data Device
Third party devices such as printers can be connected to receive weight
informa on. A data device can be connected by either Bluetooth® or Wi-Fi.
1. Turn On the Data Device.
2. Turn On the W-1.
3. On the W-1, select
Se ngs > Equipment Connec ons > Loadbars >
bu on.

bu on. Apply some weight to the bars to
Power
bu on and go to the Weigh screen to re-connect.
