6.0 Troubleshooting
Before calling for service, review the following list. It may save time and expense in diagnosing an simple error code
not requiring repairs.
The following list contains some common occurrences that are not a result of defective workmanship or materials.
Problem
1) Unit will not operate
2) Air from unit does not
feel cold enough in cool
mode
3) Compressor turns on and
off rapidly
4) Compressor, lines, or
evap. Coil is iced up
5) Circuit breaker trips on
unit or at power supply

Remedy
reset breaker, check for adequate size
minimum of 20-amp
C) Run on a dedicated circuit
D) Adjust thermostat to cooler setting.
