Replacing the Rollers

When rollers are worn, paper jams and double feeds tend to occur. You
can replace the rollers (Pickup Roller, Feed Roller, and Separation
Roller) according to the following procedure.
The exchange roller kit is not included with the scanner. Purchase an
exchange roller kit separately, as shown below.
Compatible exchange roller kit: 1732C001

Pull the Open Button, and pull the Right Maintenance Cover
open to the right.

Remove the Roller Cover.
IMPORTANT
As shown in the figure, release hook A (left bottom) and hook B (right top
toward the back) of the roller cover, and then lift up the cover. This will allow
you to remove the cover.

Push up the Separation OFF Lever in the direction of the
arrow.
