After completing the safety and setup steps, the test will start from the beginning, unless a retest is
being performed. If a restart is available, the operator has the option to restart from the allowed point,
or run the test from the beginning.
Once a selection is made, the program will continue to the appropriate test section and begin testing.
Regulator Protection
If Supply Pressure often falls below Operating pressure, the regulator can be damaged over time.
This typically occurs with mobile compressors, but can occur in repair yards with insufficient air
supplies.
A regulator protection algorithm can be turned on from the Preferences section on the dropdown
menu at the upper right corner of the screen. This algorithm stops the program if supply pressure falls
under operating pressure for long periods of time. Once the supply pressure recovers, the operator is
given the option to continue testing, provide the supply pressure recovers within the timeout period. If
the timeout period is exceeded, the tested is stopped and a Fail result entered into the test report.
