Approving of tack measuring sensor
The tack measuring sensor embedded into metal roller is usually stable over life time.
Nevertheless it can be approved periodically for granting the accuracy of measurement.

The AlphaTack supports tack sensor any time the operator requests. The instrument uses an
internal reference force based gravity which is applied on embedded force sensors via a slim
calibration roller. The slim calibration roller is an optional accessory part (ordering part
number 970010) can be used for all instruments in lab.
The calibration check takes less than 5 minutes.
1) Mount slim calibration roller
2) Prepare a pipette with demineralized water
3) Open the dialog Instrument/Check Tack Sensors ...
4) Press start button
5) Keep the rollers wet with demi water sufficiently as shown on figure 20. That prevents
any minor tackiness of surfaces during calibration
6) When finalized the deviation to current calibration should be smaller than 1 %
7) When there is a larger difference re-start calibration
