TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBABLE CAUSES – POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
WARNING! In case of interventation to the centrifugal
machine make sure that the electric board is off.
When the operator starts up the machine and it does
not start or stops within a few minutes, it means that the
bowl speed control rev counter function has triggered,
highlighted by an alarm on the electric control board.
This fault could depend on:
1.
The bowl is not free to turn regularly (see Par.7.3).
2.
The bowl speed detection sensor is damaged or
connected and/or positioned incorrectly (see rev counter
manual).
3.
The control system is damaged or is not programmed
correctly (see control system manua)
If the decanter stops a few minutes after start-up it means
that the rev counter function "screw differential speed
control" has triggered, highlighted by an alarm on the
electric control board.
This fault could depend on:
1.
The safety pin is broken, (see Par. 5.5. - "Replacing
shear pin").
2.
The internal screw speed detection sensor is da-
maged or connected and/or positioned incorrectly (see rev
counter manual).
3.
The rev counter is damaged or is not programmed
correctly (see rev counter manual).
