5.1

Preparation for starting the pump unit

The PT series pumps are self-priming piston pumps with leather piston cups. When the piston cups are
wet they expand against the cylinder sleeve so that the pump can build up vacuum. Therefore the pump
housing must be filled with water.
5.2

To fill the pump housing with water

1. Remove the upper cover (1) from the stone catcher.
2. Fill the stone catcher with water.
3. Close the cover.
5.3

Control panel

PT250 pump is supplied with a star-delta switch(4). Switch has three positions: Neutral (1), Star (2)
and Delta (3).
