- Page 2 General Information: The Labnet Slide Spinner is a personal centrifuge supplied with a rotor and cassettes to hold 2 microarray or standard microscope slides. The Slide Spinner is designed for drying liquid from glass slides, typically microarray slides. Please read this manual thoroughly before attempting to operate the centrifuge.
- Page 3 The recommended cleaning method for the cassettes is a mild non-akaline detergent. For decontamination of internal part of the cassettes, Labnet recommends using Ultrasonic Cleaning Units (it is very effective for destroying DNA-autoclaving doesn’t effectively destroy DNA) The cassettes are not resistant to alkaline detergents, or acids.
